The Teddy Bear Pack
Pack hikes, daycare and sleepovers for doodles in Vancouver

What your doodle can expect
Your dog will have free range of my house and fenced grassy backyard. We go on doodle pack hikes Monday-Saturday. On non-hike days we visit the local dog parks such as Burrard View and New Brighton. At home I will lavish them with affection and cuddles, they will also have plenty of opportunities for puppy playtime. I can provide a potty break every 2 hours.
The doodle pack has an off-leash adventure everyday at Brother’s Creek, Cypress Falls, Ballantree park, Inter-River, Pacific Spirit, Spanish Banks, and many other fun places.
I love to play fetch, practise recall, commands, and explore the area with the dogs I care for. Rain or shine, it doesn’t bother me!
Doggy daycare
Choose from a half day $35 (4hrs), short day $40 (6hrs), or full day $50 (8hrs). My capacity for daycare is 5 dogs at the same time in addition to my own dog, Rhubarb. An additional $5 will be added to the daycare rate for puppies.
Sleepover
Your dog can stay for a sleepover for as long as you like! They can sleep on the bed and will be allowed on the furniture. There is also a plethora of doggy beds and cosy spots around the house to choose from. Prices are $85 (24hrs) for adult dogs, $90 (24hrs) for puppies, and $100 (24hrs) if they have anxiety and can’t be left alone for 1-2hrs, so I can run errands.
My capacity is 2 dogs/night, pups will only be matched for sleepovers if they have already met and get along well together.
If it’s your dogs first sleepover with me, they must come first for a trial daycare session, followed by a trial sleepover on a different date. If we mutually agree it’s a good fit, we can then schedule their doggy-staycation.
There is a 7 day cancellation policy.
Adventures & pack hikes
What is included? A GPS tracker attached to their collar, a spot in the doodle cruiser with their buddies, plenty of fresh water, yummy beef liver treats, recall practice, mental stimulation, all the best sniffs, games of chase, river dips, and endless adventures in the forest, rivers and at the beach with the doodle pack.
Is it safe? My team always carry a pet first aid kit on hikes and have completed the dog first aid certification. The tracker they wear on their collar is waterproof and very sturdy. This ensures they can be located at all times. In addition, your dog should be able to demonstrate good recall with their pack leader before joining a pack hike.
Will they be clean? We always try to run them through a stream/river before we leave the trail, then towel dry them before jumping in the car. They will get a hose down or bath at daycare if they’re still dirty.
Are pack hikes included with sleepovers? Yes, pack hikes are included in the sleepover fee.
Are pack hikes included with daycare? No, pack hikes are an add-on to the daycare fee. This is $15/hike. There is also the option to only participate in the pack hike for $47 with pickup and drop off included.
Imagine how tired and cuddly they will be when they’re returned to you after so much exercise and mental stimulation!
Pick up & drop off
Pick up and drop off for daycare or sleepovers is available within a 15km radius from my home in East Van. The price is dependant on the distance from doggy daycare.
